Appointments Policy

We know we are all busy and waiting for an appointment can be frustrating. At All Saints we always try and see you on your allocated appointment time or within ten minutes.

On the rare occasion we may run late this is typically due to a dental emergency. We appreciate your understanding when this happens.

To help run to schedule, we ask new patients to arrive ten minutes before their appointment time. This is to have plenty of time to complete the required registration paperwork

Lateness

This Practice invests a significant amount of time trying to create and maintain an appointments system which will adequately manage the appointment books. We want to be able to deliver a flexible service where all patients benefit from flexible appointment availability.

Whilst the Practice is committed to providing appointments to meet the needs of patients it cannot replace appointment time lost when a patient fails to show up, or when they cancel their booking so late that the slot cannot be re-used. We appreciate your assistance on helping us to reduce wasted appointment slots which impacts upon other patients that could have benefited by ensuring you allow at least 48 hours if you wish to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Both Emails and Phone calls are accepted as methods of cancellation.

The practice has a late cancellation fee for patients who fail to provide adequate notice to cancel their appointment. Patients with outstanding cancellation fees will not be allowed to make any further appointments at until all fees are settled. This is to avoid wasted appointments and reduce waiting times for all patients.
